ABOUT ME AND MY CRAFTS
I use a variety of materials from fleece fabric to terra cotta pots, to wood cutouts. Fabric prints may vary but fabric colors are categorized, so you'll be sure to get the color with possibly a different pattern.
Each item is an original design (no patterns are used!) by "Isn't That Cute?!" and handmade by Melissa (that's me)!
No two items are exactly alike; each is one of a kind with its own character. I can do custom orders and personalize many items. Please allow 2 -4 weeks for delivery of your order. I take great pride in my creations and want my customer to be pleased and satisfied. Whether purchasing for yourself or a loved one, you will be sure to find that truly special gift here at Isn't That Cute?!

Welcome to Isn't That Cute?! So glad you found me!I started crafting while attending college in 1995 (at the age of 28!) in Washington State. I wanted to become an elementary school teacher, after working at the Boeing Company for nearly ten years. It all came about when I decided to make a cute little teacher necklace for myself for when I started student teaching. Well, everyone in my college courses wanted me to make one for them, and it took off from there!
After graduating from college, and getting a teaching job, I still managed to craft a lot and do local craft shows on the weekends. After making exclusively teacher only crafts for a couple years, I expanded my clientele by making holiday and other types of cute crafts. I went from doing small, local shows to the big time trade shows and realized, sadly, there is more money in selling my crafts than there is in teaching with a masters degree!! So, before my second son was born, I resigned from teaching, and jumped into making my crafting obsession, a full-fledged business.
I put myself on the Internet in February of 2001. It has been a HUGE learning experience. It is so uplifting to read all the comments people, like you, leave in my guest book! Makes me want to run to my studio and craft away!
I also began hosting small craft shows out of my home for Christmas and spring. After two years, I decided to move it to a hall in town, and I have become a show promoter, hosting four large craft fairs a year with local handcrafters. It has been pure joy for me, and a great way to make a living from doing something I love that allows me to be a stay home mom. Never mind that my kids are covered in glitter year round!!!
I live in Enumclaw, Washington, nestled in the foothills of the majestic Mt. Rainier. Weslee and Tanner, are11 and 8. I couldn't do it without their love and support! I do hope you enjoy your visit to my little nook on the net!
